Defenders of the innocent, they follow a strict moral code and uphold the tenets of justice and right. In the Core Rulebook, it is noted only characters with a Good alignment can take on the Champion mantle. In general Champion is about defense and support while Fighter is about offense. I feel PF2E is quite good to just have a basic concept and go with the flow.
